Historic Picture Frame Conservation Triage

This workshop will serve as a primer on how to identify frames in your historical society or museum's collection and the most common conservation/condition issues facing many antique picture frames.  Learn how to prioritize treatment and steps to conserve and preserve these artifacts.  And to mark the year of the Maine Photo Project, we will devote some time to selecting historic frames for photographs.  Hosted by Freeport Historical Society.

Presented by Johanna Moore, owner/operator of Artifacts: Gilders, Frame Makers, Restorations & Fine Art Gallery.

Date: Wednesday, June 24, 2015

Time:  9:00am-12:00pm

Location: Freeport Community Library, 10 Library Drive, Freeport, ME

Cost:  $15 MAM Members/$18 Non-Members
