Create & Augment App-based Experiences to Stay Connected with your Visitors

An Online Workshop

Participants will learn about ways you can turn a smart phone app into a full digital experience to serve both onsite and offsite visitors. Presenters from OnCell will provide an overview of the many ways museums have been augmenting apps to engage visitors - before or during the COVID-19 pandemic - and tips for creating those types of experiences.

Participants will also learn about ways to promote their new offerings.

Your Presenters

Your presenters hail from OnCell, a leading digital storytelling platform for museums, parks, attractions, cities, and historic sites of all sizes. Since its inception in 2006, the OnCell team has worked on over 3000 projects worldwide and counting. Well versed in app technology, OnCell is excited to share their expertise and elaborate on why apps make for interactive, affordable and easy to use digital experiences!

Kyle Pierce, Head of Sales for OnCell, has been with OnCell for almost six years. He is head of sales and helps navigate clients through platform options and finding what will work best for them. He’s helped launch over 200 projects, while also overseeing the National Park and U.S. National Forest accounts.

Josh Gilbert, Head of Client Success for OnCell, manages OnCell's team of client success managers and works daily on hundreds of projects to make sure clients are able to create their perfect digital experience. He has worked with large, mid-sized and much smaller organizations over the course of 2 years with the company. Josh's expertise is in knowing what works best for certain cultural institutions when tackling an app project and helping clients brainstorm and execute on these ideas.

Genevieve Hauck, Marketing Communications Manager for OnCell, lived in Italy 2017-2018 earning a master's degree in arts management. For 2 years she studied public and private cultural institutions in Europe helping them refine their marketing, communication and digital strategies. Prior to 2017, Genevieve worked in various museums such as the George Eastman Museum and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. A year ago, Genevieve joined OnCell to manage the arts and cultural clients and help organizations launch new digital initiatives such as app experiences."
