Fellowship at the Dyer Library/Saco Museum

The Dyer Library and Saco Museum seek a Fellow to assist with the exhibition and presentation of the Moving Panorama of Pilgrim's Progress from June through November of 2012. This is a temporary, part-time position with a salary of $7,260 for 22 weeks. The Panorama Fellow will assist with the installation and deinstallation of the panorama in two discrete exhibition locations, will provide a security presence in the Pepperell Mill (Biddeford) location for approximately 30 hours per week throughout the run of the exhibition, will provide formal and informal tours of the exhibit, and will assist with planning and staffing panorama-related programs and events. This position reports to the Museum Director and will also take direction from the Education and Program Manager for the purposes of related programming. This position is an excellent pre-professional opportunity; preference will be given to degree candidates or recent recipients in art history, history, museum studies, or other related fields.
