Institution description
Bucksport Historical Society operates a local history museum located at 92 Main Street which is open Wednesday-Saturday in July and August. The society also owns the Bucksport Paper Mill Museum, located at 4 Mariner Way in what was the gatehouse for a paper mill built in 1930 which closed in 2014. The Paper Mill Museum was acquired in 2023 and is scheduled to open to the public in 2025.
