In a digital landscape where advertisements and AI-generated content are filling up social media feeds, museums are uniquely situated to provide content that is rooted is historical accuracy and lived-in materiality. Learn some simple and fun ways that you can highlight your collections and organization on social media, all while increasing your brand awareness, staying culturally relevant, and growing your audience.
About the presenter: Abigail Jakub is the Digital Media & Communications Specialist at Maine Historical Society where she manages social media and produces videos. She grew up in Downeast Maine and attended the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies.
