Institution description
THe General Henry Knox Museum is a recreation of the home of Gen. Henry Knox, Revolutionary War hero and first U.S. Secretary of War. The house contains many of Knox's original furnishings and possessions.

Tours conducted by guides in period costumes are available and last between 45 minutes and 1 hour. Many special events are also regularly scheduled. Check website for details.

2018 Hours: Tuesday – Friday, May 29-September 1, 10am-4pm; Saturday 10am-1pm. September 7-October 13, Friday 10am-4pm; Saturday 10am-1pm. Phone ahead to confirm days and hours.

Cost: $10; $8 (ages 62+); $4 (ages 5-12); free (active-duty military with ID); $20 (family of 2 adults, 2 children).
